Continuing onward...I watched North and South and loved it. Mitch came home from work during the last 1/2 hour of the movie where it was getting so good and so I could barely acknowledge his presence. He rolled his eyes and shut himself up in the bedroom. I think he is wondering when I will get over this period romance hump. I think that was my last one for a while...unless anyone else has any recommendations!
Tomorrow is the first of May. It just doesn't feel that late in the year! I attribute it to the fact that Utah is resisting the spring weather. We get just a taste of warm weather and then all of a sudden I have to put on my alpaca slippers and sit in front of our space heater. I am enjoying the fact that it is getting lighter earlier and staying light later into the night. It is still light at 8:30! However as it does get warmer we seem to get more bugs in the house. I got out of the shower the other day to find this crawling on the ground:
There is only one thing I find more disgusting than spiders and it is a centipede. I am traumatized because we used to have these in our house growing up and they were impossible to kill. I remember mom whacking one repeatedly with a slipper, slamming it with a phone book and it still popped up and ran away. Gross. Let's hope he doesn't have anymore friends.

Love your blog! I've been reading past posts and I just love it when I find a fun blog I can stock! I've gotta make those magnets, what a cute shower idea! I remember you saying once your sister was the Martha Stewart-well she better watch out you rock!
I"m glad you liked it...I haven't watched Sense and Sensibility yet, since I'm waiting for Paul...but I'll probably go ahead without him. And I love your new hairdo!
You have the greatest adventures...and you share them, and that is better. I'm glad you liked North and South. Sometimes making a recommendation is dangerous because you don't know if the person you recommended it to will really like it. :) Glad you did.
As far as children's books and Divine Nature... How about Max Lucado's You are Special? I like that one a lot. I think the girls would be able to relate to it too.
