On Saturday we drove the Alpine Loop to check out the beautiful fall colors. We started doing this a couple of years ago, but this was definitely the best year. I think we went a little too late in the season before, but this year we hit it just right. This picture was taken from my phone, so you will understand that it doesn't even really convey the brilliance of the mountainside. This particular mountain seemed to radiate yellow. It was awesome.
