Winter is quickly on its way. It actually snowed here in Utah last weekend. Mitch and I went to the BYU vs. New Mexico game on Saturday bundled up from head to toe. We are talking thermals, multiple layers, coats, hats, ear warmers, gloves, boots AND extra blankets. I felt like the little boy on the Christmas Story walking to the stadium. I could barely move around. At first I felt foolish and a little "over-prepared" as people were passing us in a light jacket, shorts and one lady was in a knee-length skirt!!! But I felt completely comfortable the entire game. I don't know how those other people survived. The mountains were beautiful to look at during the game with the fall colors, lightly frosted with snow.

Church-related news...Please tune out if uninterested....On Sunday I received a new church calling!!! I am in the nursery. Some people might not enjoy this calling, but I am SO excited. I have wanted to be in primary one way or another and this will be great. The kids we have are so cute. AND this means I will be released as girl's camp director. Believe me, this is definitely in the best interests of the young women!
