Mitch occasionally talks in his sleep. It is maybe once a month and it is usually just one or two words spoken very loudly. It usually wakes me up, I laugh and then roll over and fall back asleep. The other night however he took the sleep-talking to a whole "nother" level.
It was the night we got back from Washington. We were both exhausted after the long drive and ready for a good night's sleep. In the middle of the night I am awakened by Mitch who is standing on his side of the bed asking me:
Mitch: "Kristen...where is the car?"
Me: "What car?"
Mitch: "OUR car!"
Me: "Are you awake?"
Mitch: "Yes! Kristen just tell me where the car is!"
Me: "In the driveway!"
Mitch: "Of the hotel?"
Me: "No! Our driveway." (and I point to our driveway)
Mitch: "Oh...we're not at the hotel?"
Me: "No we're home now...and you are still sleeping."
Mitch: "No I'm not!" (quite defensively...)
At this point he walks out to the kitchen to eat a bowl of cereal. I start laughing and roll over to go back to sleep. By the time he comes back to bed he is giggling to. He said he totally was sleeping and didn't really wake up until he was pouring the cereal. I think we are even now in the craziness of our dreams.

Haha, oh man. thats a weird one! I used to sleep walk so often that even when I wasn't and would wake my mom up because I was scared, she still wouldn't believe I was awake, and would put me back in bed.
Haha, sounds like Mitch's future!
Mark does that fairly often. It is a fun challenge for me to see how long I can carry on the conversation. Of course, it's all fun and games until he calls me a skank in his sleep...
All of my brothers are sleepwalkers!! All it took to get them back to sleep was taking them to the bathroom... they would do their thing and walk back to bed and go to sleep:) hehe
