Registering 2.0

We celebrated Valentine's Day in a number of glamorous ways. We started off by doing our taxes. I will stop on that subject right there. The highlight of the day was registering for baby stuff. I was mentally preparing myself for pulling Mitch around the store but he actually did really well. We discovered that as long as he was holding the scanner/gun he remained happy. I wish I would have known this 3 years ago when registering for wedding gifts which ended up in tears and drama. Oh how far we have come.

We ended up the evening with a lovely dinner at Asuka's hibachi grill. We ate there 5 years ago on Valentine's Day...the day we started dating! It was fun to reminisce. Afterwards we made a run to Walmart so Mitch could buy some face wash, a new razor and 8 bags of water softener pellets. So romantic...I know. It was funny because a couple that sat next to us at Asuka also went to Walmart afterwards. Is this what happens after 3 years of marriage?

Mitch did great in the gift department with flowers and a gift certificate for a pedicure! My favorite....especially now that I can't reach my feet. I think I did okay by getting him The Sports Illustrated College Football Book:

You kids are crazy! I relate to Mitch give me a price gun or register gun and I am just happy as can be. That is the one thing I am looking forward to when I am married or have a baby.

Tell Mitch he needs to start appreciating LOST or our friendship could be on the rocks.

Help him sweet sister Bingham. May be by acting some scenes together could do some great things. Or building your own little hatch of blankets and your dining room table could also be a good start.
Baby Steps...baby steps.

What are you mad?! do you honestly think that Mitch likes College Football? where did you get that impression? Well Im sure he just as amused with the book as much as he was with the scanner gun. Ah good times warm fuzzies..... we miss you guys. Again thanks for that awsome date.
