David's Mon

Here is a picture of the mon I did for my cousin David (before it was framed) for his wedding. I need to get a pic with it framed. Congratulations! May the cranes bring you good luck and fortune!

David: Ha, ha. Sorry. I didn't mean to tease. No more angry faces.

Rob: A Mon is a family crest. It is Japanese-Hawaiian tradition to fold 1001 origami cranes and use them to design the family crest. As a wedding gift it is good fortune/luck as you start off your marriage.....pretty cool stuff.
