Mitch bought me a dozen roses....and of course my sewing machine. Well, I actually bought the sewing machine but isn't our money one and the same? I bought him a water bottle and a shirt. I am so nice. Is it surprising that he wants to return them? Okay....but I really bought them intending him to most likely return them and get what he wanted. I just didn't want to buy another gift card. I tried to show a little more effort. However it seems that this extra effort has created more work for everyone.
The best part of Valentine's Day: Mitch told me that he was watching Keilani and I in church and he just felt happy. He said we made it his best Valentine's Day ever.
Definitely better than last year's Valentine's Day. We made the unfortunate mistake of doing taxes that morning and we owed money. Lesson learned.
