Aloha Specialties

The beginnings of crawling on her knees!

Enjoying Kea's soccer game.

Sleeping like an angel in the car ride.

Last weekend we went to Vegas. Did you know that people from Hawaii love to go to Vegas? And that 99% of them stay at The California, Fremont or Main Street hotels? Anyways....we stayed at The Cal and it felt like Little Hawaii. My dad loves to eat at the "local" type restaurant called Aloha Specialties. We ate there 3 times in 2 1/2 days. Good stuff.

The highlights of the trip included:

-Keilani did great in the car ride!!!

-Keilani learned how to wave to grandpa.

-Keilani learned how to really, really crawl (see video).

-Eating good food over and over.

-Sharing my childhood Vegas memories with Mitch (this was his first time!)

-Watching Kea's soccer tournament and seeing her sports goggles in person.

-Spending time with my family.

-The warmer-than-Utah weather. Even though the wind was still cold. We all got a little sunburned. Mitch's face looks like neapolitan ice cream. We don't quite know how that happened.

Here is Keilani crawling. She is after a piece of paper I am holding in my toes if you must know. Babies are motivated by bizarre things.

I have to comment before even watching the videos...Mitch has never been to Vegas! I think this is along the same line as Percy never having a Twinkie or candy corns (he finally tried both a few years ago). Did he love Vegas?
