We celebrated Keilani's birthday this past week. I can't believe she is 2!!!! She is so fun and busy and we cannot imagine our family without her! She was spoiled by her grandparents, aunties, uncles and cousins and is in heaven playing with her new stuff! Mitch and I decided to get her a little bike, which I have now realized she probably won't really figure out how to ride until next summer! Ha. Oh well. And while most 2-year-olds are obsessed with Barney and Elmo (who she does like), Keilani just loves The Sound of Music. Don't ask me why because I don't know. We used to have the VHS until she ripped it apart :( so I decided to make the investment and get her the dvd for her birthday.
She cried through her entire well-child exam yesterday (which I fear she may do until she is 18 years old). She is 35" (70th percentile) and 29 lbs (75th percentile).
She can now count to 20, sing her ABC song, recognizes all her letters and numbers, loves to dress up, loves animals (stuffed and real), likes to dance, and jibber-jabbers all day (and we are finally beginning to understand her!) She claps and cheers when she accomplishes something, fake laughs for attention, loves being around other children, has a crush on a 13 year old boy and just has so much personality. We love her!!
