Highlights from the past 2 months:
1. Of course, welcoming Kelia into our home.

2. Keilani is completely potty-trained! HOORAY!!!! (Due completely to my mother who spent a couple of intense days working with her! I should probably be embarrassed to admit that I did not do the potty-training, but I totally am not).
3. Reacquainting myself with life as a non-pregnant woman. I can reach my feet and breathe and sleep (when I get the chance) comfortably and eat more than just what I am craving.
4. Watching Keilani move into the big sister role. I think she was born to be a big sister. She is so great with Kelia. She wants to hold her and will say "Hi cute girl." When Kelia starts crying she will run up and try to soothe her "It's okay baby girl" or try to give her her binky. While she has had difficulty adjusting to less attention, she has always loved her sister.

5. And while this is more than a couple of months old, I was too tired to mention it before (was still huge and pregnant...), but Mitch graduated in August!!! Woo hoo!!!

And now I looked at the calendar and Thanksgiving is next week AND our neighbors are hanging up Christmas lights and all the Black Friday and Christmas ads are flooding the house. What happened? The time is flying, but I am excited to share these holidays with my family and friends. I am excited to bake and sew some gifts, but we'll see if sleep will override that desire....probably will.
