I procrastinated with getting the girls' pictures taken. Fortunately Karen is awesome and took their pictures on short notice and came up with amazing pictures. Keilani in her usual fashion was SO DIFFICULT, but I love the pictures. I always want to try to "save" the pictures as a surprise for our Christmas cards, but I can never wait! I just have to share my joy.
(Keilani - 2 1/2 years old)
Kelia (2 months old)
Can anyone else actually believe it is December? Time is flying by and I can't seem to ever get caught up on anything, so we just kind of take it day by day.
Keilani loved putting on the Christmas ornaments this year. She put about 20 ornaments on 3 branches. It was great. She didn't mind that I helped her move a few higher up the tree. We have really been trying to help her get into the true spirit of Christmas. I don't think she really quite understands that you get presents. People keep asking her what she wants for Christmas and she doesn't quite understand what they mean. I like it that way! She is a true 2 year old and a true joy.
Kelia is growing healthy and strong! We had her 2-month check up yesterday. She is 15 lbs 7 oz! Just in case you are wondering...that is OFF the charts. I think the nurse was pretty shocked. She was 90th percentile for her head and height. She is following Keilani's track record and even beating it by a few notches. She is such a happy baby though. She just smiles and coos and is content just being a baby.
It sounds and feels like I am writing an insert for a Christmas card, which is probably good, because I don't usually do that and realistically this will probably be my only post this month. So just in case I am right, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all!
