Baby Shower

I helped out with my good friend Emily's baby shower last Saturday. Can I just say how excited I am for her (and Jeremy too of course)? We had so much fun and she made a haul on the cutest baby girl clothes and jetted-whirlpool baby bathtub!?! I made these magnets as the party favors and wanted to document (mainly for myself) the idea for future use. If anyone wants to learn how to make them it is super easy. Just let me know.

I spent last night watching the Biggest Loser Finale. A woman finally won! I love that show, mainly because it inspires me to push myself and work out even harder. If you do watch, then you know the trainer Jillian (Gillian?). Mitch is scared of her and says she could take Bob out any day. I think she really could too....if not with her sheer brute force, then by her piercing glare and man voice.

Changing the subject completely now...we woke up early last week and Mitch was totally stressed out from a nightmare he had about snakes in our shower. In the nightmare he called out to me and I had to come get the snakes, put them in a ziplock bag (?) and take them outside to the trash. There is more to the nightmare, but I'll end the description there so I don't invoke nightmares on anyone else.

All that morning (after the nightmare) he was paranoid and didn't want to get in the shower. He kept saying how "real" it felt. A few days later he went out to go throw some branches from yard work into the garbage. He went to grab the last two sticks and one of them started to move! He jumped back and realized it was a real snake! He said he started chasing it (I am not sure what he would have done if he caught it?) but it got away. He came running inside all shocked and flustered. I think he is now a little traumatized and don't think we will be getting a pet snake anytime soon.
