Yesterday Mitch and I, my parents, Valynne & Grant and the girls all went to watch Ashley's lacrosse game. Yes...women's lacrosse. This is her first year playing and she is apparently a star. The coach just wished she would have started earlier (since she is a senior). By the way that picture is not really of Ashley, but she is number 20, and yes...they really do wear those goggles and skirts. I would have posted some pictures, but she looks like an ant on the field...maybe I will later. We don't have a power zoom lens on the camera. I think we were all lost during the game since none of us know the rules...Ashley says she doesn't even know the rules yet. I guess she gets a yellow card every game. Anyways, it was still entertaining and they won.
Afterwards we all went to eat and Kea (just turned 7-years-old) entertained us. She came up to Mitch and I to tell us about her magic 8 ball. To see a related story see Valynne's blog. She said she asked the magic 8 ball if her mom had stinky breath, and it said YES! Mitch started laughing and asked Kea if she thought the 8 ball was correct. Kea leaned in and very seriously, slowly whispered, "Y-E-S!" She is into spelling everything out. That girl is hilarious...and no she doesn't really have stinky breath. By the way Valynne...that was supposed to be a secret.
