A NEW COAT!!

Most people know I have problems when it comes to handbags/purses, occasionally shoes/boots, and most lately coats. Dad likes to rub it in whenever we go to their house..."a NEW coat?" or "a NEW bag?" Even if they are not really that new. Anyways....I feel I have practiced more self-control lately. I started to feel guilty as I got a new ski coat for Christmas, then bought myself a down coat and then another work coat....and Mitch had this old coat that wasn't even warm. I told him it was definitely his turn to get a coat. He has been looking and looking for over a year now with no success. As it should be, Mitch is very particular when he spends a lot of money and wants to get the "perfect" purchase. He would occasionally find one he liked but it would cost more than all of my coats ever purchased combined, so we would move on.

On Friday we headed up to the Park City Outlets. I was convinced it would be another unsuccessful coat search, but knew Mitch would not be satisfied until we at least looked. To my surprise, Mitch actually found a coat!!! Hooray! This may not seem important and a waste of blog space, but I am relieved this will no longer be consuming his thoughts and we can move on with life.

On a side note: After every blog entry, Mitch informs me of how I only tell half-truths and make him sound like a crazy, mean person. I proceed to tell him that I am sorry I do not have a photographic memory and cannot remember what he says word-for-word. Apparently my paraphrasing does not cut it! Then I tell him to get his own blog to counteract my blog. Then he tells me "Honey! I barely learned how to email! How am I supposed to do a blog!" (I guess being in school full-time and working full-time has nothing to do with it....) So in the words of my nephew who told me "Oops. I forgot to share...." This is a formal invitation to Mitch to write on my blog!!! We'll see if he accepts the offer.

Wow, do you realize that Your Husband and my Wife are like the same person? But I mean your husband is a man and my wife is a woman...... but they trully are the same. Tell Mitch that if my wife can learn how to "Facebook" than he can sure as heck blogg.
We miss you guys.... halla

Mitch is definitely not mean; however, I have to say he is a little crazy. I, on the other hand, am perfectly not crazy.

Mark thinks the same thing about my blog! (He also thinks there are too many pictures of him on it.) I tell him if he only did really nice, charming, and intelligent things I would write about those =)

Ha! Great blog Kristen. I can relate only too well to your dilemmas. I decided long ago that if I never get married I will become a purse, boots and jacket lady (mostly because I don't like cats) but also because I think it would be lovely to have an entire room just for my jackets and purses.

BTW I'll be in Utah for 8 days before Thanksgiving and then from December 10ish to January 19ish. If we don't hang out during that time I'm disowning you and Mitch as my friends.
