So for many, I have disappointing news. Remember those conehead costumes we were so excited to wear for Halloween? Well they will just have to wait until next year! On Halloween day I was feeling kind of gross all day and then when Mitch got home from work he was so exhausted. We fell asleep at 5:00 pm!!!! I did eventually wake up when we were getting trick-or-treaters and was feeling guilty for not handing out the candy I bought a month ago specifically for this reason...Mitch slept and I read my book The Hunger Games. What can I say...we are old! We had quite the relaxing Halloween though.

Our pumpkins did not make it to Thursday for the pumpkin competition. The weather was unusually warm all week, which was fine by me, but quite unfortunate for the pumpkins. They shriveled up and looked pretty nasty by Halloween. As I am typing this, I realized I forgot to throw them in the garbage before today's garbage pick-up. I guess we get to see what they look like after another week!

I agree about being old I had to dodge trick or treaters all night long. I forgot to buy Candy.. Ah crap
