Comeback.

I was looking at some of my past posts and realized how much I have neglected this little old blog. Last June (2008) I had 16 posts! Lately it seems I am lucky to get 1 or 2 in a month. SO, here is my attempted comeback. What has been going on with the Binghams?

1. Today I finally got the title transferred from my mom's car (that I bought over 5-6 years ago) changed to my name.

2. The air conditioning (in the above-mentioned car) just went out. Oh, and I need to get new brakes. Oh, and Mitch needs new brakes for his car too.

3. Thinking I could endure the rest of the summer without air-conditioning I attempted to drive around one afternoon with the windows down. A grasshopper or some huge insect flew through the window and hit my ear. I was so freaked out, but couldn't stop because I was in the middle of traffic so I just clenched my teeth and sped to the gym (where I was headed), jumped out of the car and couldn't find the bugger. I am convinced it is still lurking somewhere in the car.

4. I have decided I need to fix my air conditioning.

5. Mitch's office has moved buildings and in the process we inherited a newer office chair, a nice fan (because ironically we don't have ac in our house either...), a wet-vac and about 2 tons of fancy candy. By fancy, I mean the kind of candy that is from France and packaged in those circular tin containers. Oh, and about 50 of those giant tennis-ball sized jawbreakers.

6. We decided the newer office chair is too squeaky and high for the desk so we need to get rid of it. Anyone want it?

7. I need to figure out what to do with 2 tons of fancy candy. I was thinking of giving them away to the neighbors for Christmas this year.....act surprised if you get candy from us. OR if you would like some, please stop by.

8. Fiddler on the Roof was on KUED a couple of weeks ago and ever since then Mitch has been obsessed with it. He gets on youtube and plays clips non-stop of the songs every night. I guess he used to listen to this when he was younger.....

9. Mitch surprised me for my birthday and took me out to dinner and a movie. We were supposed to see Wolverine, but it was all sold out so we saw Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. LAME. Don't see it.

10. We finally did see Wolverine last Saturday (dollar movies of course) and liked it. You finally learn and understand why he is exploding out of the water with his claws (? - whatever you call them...scissor hands?). You know the clip they show in every x-men movie of Wolverine's past.....

11. I am working on completing another mon for my cousin Trent and his new wife Sarah. The design is beautiful and I am so excited to see what it will look like when it is done. I'll post pictures when it is done.

12. Mitch is preparing for the Provo River 1/2 marathon which is next Saturday. He is running it with my sister Ashley and his brother Brent. I am quite proud of him and impressed since he hates running. He likes to train on the track though! I don't know how he runs 40-50 laps. Crazy.

13. Keilani likes to talk to Mitch. She doesn't really talk to me all that much but gets super talkative when he talks to her. I need to record this and post it.

14. Last week I witnessed/experienced the biggest poopy diaper ever. Keilani pooped and it immediately saturated the front of her onesie all the way up to her neck (almost). I would have thrown it away, but I loved that onesie so I scrubbed and rinsed and washed it clean.

15. We love our little girl. Poopy diapers and all. It still hits me at random times that she is mine (well ours...) and I will always be her mother and I am so amazed and grateful for the opportunity.

More to come....

LOVE the pictures below!! It's amazing how fast they grow!

Okay, if the grasshopper thing would have happened to me, I seriously don't know what I would have done. You are a brave soul.

Check with Josh R. to see about fixing the brakes.
Next time you are in the area, you are more than welcome to drop off a half a ton of candy!

Great post. I love that you have 50 big jawbreakers. Those are the best, until you find them a year later half-eaten.

And I LOVE Fiddler on the Roof. Great music, go Mitch.

Nice update!! I feel all caught up now. Thanks for coming to my party. We'll have to get together again. She's so cute! Guess she got that from her mom, sorry Mitch!

Ah Fidler on the Roof. I believe the record was played every sunday while dad would do dishes or we would write the older kids some letters. We own the movie and Hunter dances like crazy to "tradition". good times, good times.
