Saturday morning was Mitch's half-marathon. He did it! He really did awesome. I am glad I got pictures because I wasn't quite ready. He kept telling me it would take him 2 1/2 hours, so I was waiting for that time and then all of a sudden he crossed the finish line at 2 hours 10 min. Ashley came a few minutes later. I missed his brother Brent because he was too fast and finished under 2 hours (we weren't there yet!).
Anyway after the half-marathon I think Mitch was excited to come home and rest/take a nap, but unfortunately our water heater had leaked and we came home to a flooded basement. We quickly pushed all the furniture to one side and a disaster crew came to suck up the water, rip up the carpets and put industrial fans in every room because it flooded every room.
I have basically been living at my parents because those fans are too loud to handle for very long. Fortunately yesterday they came by and turned them off because everything is finally dry. Now we have to wait and see if we get new carpet or not. If we do...then I guess this will all be worth it. In the meantime we will continue to live in a 4x4 area of space: We literally have our computer, tv, couches, Keilani's clothes and changing table in one little space. It is pretty funny.
I watched Kea and Maile yesterday. Kea was so excited to have Keilani there and wanted to hold her and play with her. Maile would just stare from afar. I don't think she is ready for a sibling, but Kea has been for years.

Mitch is awesome! and Lani is too cute! Do you love the bumbo? we havent ever had one.
