No...Keilani is not 12 months. But her clothes are!!! Here she is at her cousin Desi's birthday party (who really did turn one today!). This outfit is from Kea, who wore this outfit when she was a year old which makes sense because it is size 12 months. Where did this giant child come from? But isn't she so cute? We love her.
We went to her doctor appointment and she is still 100th percentile in weight and moved up to 95th percentile for height. Sad news is that her head is not shaping properly (due to her neck turning problems) and she may need a helmet! Pretty sure this is the saddest thing ever and I feel like the worst mom, but if it helps then it is worth it. The doctor had to comfort me and remind me that she would not even remember ever wearing a helmet. My sister-in-law said that she sure would cute on the back of a motorcycle though. Maybe we'll just have to decorate it real cute.
Life is slowly becoming normal again. I feel like August was crazy. We got our new carpet in our place (post flood) and it is awesome. I feel like we have so much space now that everything is moved back to its proper place.
As I was driving to work and looking at the beautiful mountains I could feel the presence of fall. I am so excited. I LOVE this season. The cool, crisp air. The changing colors. The smells. The beautiful sunsets. I get to pull out the warmer clothes, etc. Mitch loves fall too because it means college football. He is so excited and told Keilani that this week she will watch her first of many college football games. Oh dear.

Don't worry about the helmet. Our neighbors son had to wear one over the summer. At least she won't be subjected to that too. She is a cutie!
does she have tortacolis? Have I asked you this before? I can't say "don't worry" because I have my own worrying to do but I know that sometimes they say that as a precaution. I've had three kids with tortacolis and have had flat heads and have been fine, no helmet needed.
That outfit is so stinkin cute! And she is a total DOLL!!!
She is so cute! I love that she is already wearing 12 month clothes. I agree don't worry about the helmet. We have some friends whose little one had one and it wasn't a big deal.
