Still Alive

We are still alive. Just been busy as usual! Some updates:

-Keilani turned 6 months old over the weekend! Where does the time go? We go in for her check-up next week to find out if she is still 100th percentile in weight. Although I already know the answer to that :) She is in 18-24 month size clothes! We love our little-but-really-big girl.

-Her helmet continues to work wonders. Her head is looking more and more normal every day.

-Her two bottom teeth are coming in. I didn't even know because she hasn't shown any signs! No excessive drooling, fever or fussiness. I happened to notice when she was laughing and there was something white on her gums.

-My car is still alive and kicking! We are hoping for at least 2-3 more years of life. However this morning as I pulled out of the driveway there was an oil leak the size of a hula hoop from my car. Sigh.

-I am working on my first non-family kamon for someone. Meaning I am actually doing it to get paid. Never thought I would do this, but I was asked and it is good money! I will post a picture of it when I am done. That will be my project during Keilani's naps for the next couple of weeks.

-I have convinced Mitch that we need to go on a real vacation...someday. Even though we never have any extra money I am opening up a vacation fund so we can go somewhere fun, someday, sometime. Something to look forward to right?

-Fall is awesome. I love it!! Keilani loves being outside and I don't have to worry about her being too hot or too cold. The temps are perfect and walks outside are the best.

Pictures of our cutie-pie coming soon...

Ghana, Africa is a great place for a vacation and you would have free tour guides.
