I think we are making a tradition of being the most boring people on Halloween. To the request of family we dressed Keilani up in her bunny costume and took her to visit nana and grandpa and her uncle and auntie. Then we were home by about 6:00 and ready to turn in for the night. We didn't get any trick-or-treaters this year because our porchlight is possessed and not working so it is WAY too dark to come down the stairs to our place. We do enjoy some down time though because it is so rare, so we may make a tradition of a chill Halloween. Click here for a few more pics.
November is here! I am the type that gets excited for the radio stations to play Christmas music starting November 1st (I know, I know...I am the only one), so imagine my disappointment when I turned on the radio this morning and NO Christmas music. Boo. Too many complaints I guess.
In other news...remember our snake drama? Unfortunately I don't think it will ever end. Last night as I was giving Keilani a bath something catches my eye in the window well. At first I thought it was a really really big worm slithering along....but no, it is a SNAKE! Baby snakes. Thus the confusion for a worm. They are probably about 6-7 inches long and I think I counted two, but who knows. There may be more for all I know. They were trying to crawl up the window. GROSS. GROSS. So disturbing. What's worse is that Mitch was sick yesterday so he said he would only be willing to open the window from the inside and try to get them but of course I refused. We just left them and they are still sitting in there as I type this, until Mitch is well enough to go outside and get them out. I'll keep you updated.
UPDATE: Mitch is better but the snakes are still in the window well. Lastnight he said he saw them for the first time and thought they were kind of cute. So disgusting.

you are NOT the only one needing Christmas music as soon as the last trick-or-treater leaves. :) i can't wait either. Happy Holidays! your baby is too darling, and it's hilarious that you have her in a helmet but took a picture of her with a conehead. how confusing!
So cute!! Keilani has the biggest eyes I have ever seen! what a knock out!
I felt the same way when I didn't hear the christmas music! I am so upset.......
