In the tradition of motivating us to lose weight (and of course to document our little family) we took family pictures a few weeks ago.
Scene: It was the perfect day for picture taking! It was crisp and cool with beautiful fall colors. I was so excited (especially because we had to reschedule after a horrible rainstorm the previous time). My friend Jocie was gracious enough to come down and take our pictures.
Enter: Nightmare Child. Seriously. Keilani was out to put me in a bad mood that day. She cried and would NOT hold still for a single picture. I was prepared for her not to smile, because that is just how she is. But I was not prepared for the screaming, crying, boneless flopping, etc.

Fortunately, Jocie is a miracle worker and was still able to get a few adorable shots anyways. She kind of had to catch Keilani off guard.

Prepare yourselves now for my "Shutterfly" promoting (all opinions of my own of course):
I am going to do my Christmas Cards with Shutterfly this year. Why? Because they really do have the cutest cards. Have you seen them? PLUS, they are offering me free cards for sharing this with you (link to promo below). But before I was even offered the cards, I had already browsed their site several times. Whenever I have received Shutterfly cards in the mail they are always the cutest. I especially love the cardstock they are printed on and the quality is great. I have browsed their site and narrowed it down to these few. Now we just have to decide which one. What do you think?

Giggles and Grins Christmas Card
And once I do get around to it (hopefully before Keilani is two years old), I have wanted to do a photo book for her (with Shutterfly) to document her first year. They offer promos and discounts all the time if you register with them (plus I am pretty sure they offer free prints when you sign up).
Do you want your own awesome Shutterfly cards? Check out the promotion here.
