Tis the Season

We are well on our way into December and I thought I would take a break out of the busyness to post some pictures. Last week was our Ward Christmas Party and Mitch was in charge. He couldn't find anyone willing to be Santa so he got to do the honors! Despite his anxiety and nervousness he did a great job! I am happy we actually have a picture of Keilani smiling with santa. I guarantee this would not have happened with a mall santa. She may have ruined the surprise for the other children however after repeatedly yelling "Daddy" and pointing at him during his Santa duties.

Last week before the party, Keilani had actually been really sick. She has been sick several times, but never this bad. She had a really bad fever and wouldn't eat anything. That is how I knew something was very wrong! She was SO cranky and I feel like she cried, whimpered and whined for 3 full days. Friday morning she finally woke up happy. This is how I knew things were looking up:

She discovered the open bag of mini reeses cups and went to town. I don't really know how many she had eaten by the time I had found her.

Here are some other random pictures from the past couple of weeks:

Her pretty bracelets.

Chillin' in her sled.

I think she stayed like this for about 2-3 minutes. "Keilani please take your finger out of your nose." Silence and no movement. "Keilani....please?" Silence. "Keilani?" etc.

One of her favorite things to do is play at the sink. I think she could stay here for hours. We got a new sink faucet and it brings me such joy. It is the little things in life right?

It seems like she and Olivia are cut from the same mold. I can't wait to see that stern face in person!
