Well...we are on our way! After round 2, Mitch and I are in first place in our little March Madness tourney. However...we think it is bad luck to be in first place too early. We'll see what happens. Mitch wrote an email to his family telling him I am becoming a March Madness Nazi. I don't know about that, but I do get excited for the games. We watched some games this weekend and Davidson beat Georgetown! What? That threw us off a little as we had Georgetown going to the elite 8. Oh well.
Easter was a joy as usual. It was fun to be with family and friends and see Jeremy in his rabbit costume at the egg hunt. Ha, ha. But up close that rabbit costume was actually kind of creepy. We had stake conference this weekend and it was spiritually rejuvenating. Most of the leaders shared personal experiences and it was quite touching. They called a new stake president who I am sure will be great, but I will miss our old stake president. He was such a great speaker and spiritual giant.
Mitch and I got home late Saturday night and we turned on the tv just as "Where the Red Fern Grows" was starting on KBYU. Mitch got all excited because he watched this movie as a child. I remember watching it in 3rd grade after reading the book, but couldn't really remember it all that well. So we watched the whole thing. Now this is not the newer movie made a few years ago, but it was the 1970's version with insanely tacky music and bad acting. But I decided that the two dogs did such a good job of acting! How did they find such talented dogs?!? (I am not even kidding here). They made the movie for me. Watch it if you are looking for a good, wholesome family show, and can withstand awkward music and acting.
I am loving the warmer weather. I always forget how exciting spring can be. March is leaving like a lamb...

Who is this Jeremy you speak of? Sounds like a really nice guy. I'd like to hire him as Easter Bunny.
We just had a discussion about that movie with our group of friends! i remember watching it with mitch ALL the time. there are the names for your first boy and girl, isnt it Dan and Little Anne? i always like the town name, paseqaw or something. kind of like pasamaqati from pete's dragon.
So why didn't you tell me you had a blog? I would be reading it always if you did. Now i will be a faithful reader. I will even link your blog to mine. haha. So mitch referred me to the "Larry Bowie" post and i have to tell you something funny. I seriously think I know the person you are talking about. Well, I don't know him know him, I have just seen him at macaroni grill. I will explain my Bowie look-a-like and you can compare and see if it is the same guy. Oh yeah, I also saw him at UVSC once. My Bowie is older about 40-ish, but for some reason he goes to school at UVSC. He looks like David Bowie but he has a bigger head. In fact he is more bulky all around. But his face and hair are completely Bowie-esque. Blond hair of course and something oddly European looking about him. Do we have a match? If not, its weird that there are two Bowie look-a-likes in provo.
Is it wierd to comment on a comment on my own blog? Oh well. So Scott....It sounds like a match! Our bowie is built and quite tall...but I think his hair is more white/blondish than just blonde. I will have to take a closer look tomorrow. He goes to UVSC? Random.
