I'm back. I didn't realize how long it has been since I last posted but a lot has happened. The holidays came and left in a blur. Christmas was fun and I enjoyed being with my family. We did gingerbread houses, sledding, snow sculptures (well we made a snow couch...), and ate, ate ate. For more pics, click here.

I gave Mitch a dvd of Bob Ross and he was SO excited. Mom and dad bought us a stroller and I am so grateful! We put the stroller together and our small basement apartment is just feeling smaller and smaller. I think the baby is taking over all available space already.
The week of New Years we went up to Washington to be with Mitch's family. Despite the horrid drive (both ways) it was a lot of fun to be with everyone. We even took a family picture in a studio (with all 41 of us!!!). New Year's Eve was quite the event. We had a dance party and Ally helped everyone make cool New Year's Eve party hats. Mine kind of turned out looking like a tahitian pope hat.
Everyone's party hats!
Eating at Fire on the Mountain
Most the adults took a night to eat at this place called Fire on the Mountain. They have all sorts of wings but my favorite were the tots and fries. We went to this cool dessert place in Portland afterward called Papa Haydn's. It is like $8 for a slice of cake. Mitch got the 7-layered carrot cake....but he still said my carrot cake tasted better. Maybe because for that price he could have had an entire cake. Anyways...it was good times. (Pictures stolen from Brad and Ally's Blog...thanks!).
