Can you tell I tend to go a little overboard when starting new things. I have to be sure to make tons of whatever I am making for some reason. Anyways, here we are at the beginning (plus not pictured are a GIANT bag of spinach and flaxseed meal from Costco).

After much steaming and anger at my weak blender, these lovely purees were the result (this was only half of them!):

Day 1: Buttered Noodles with hidden butternut squash. Verdict: Not good. However in the recipe's defense I did overcook the noodles a tad so it became a big mush pot. When we ate it right of the pot it was good and Keilani liked it, but the leftovers were horrible and even mushier. She did not eat it, nor did I. However she did eat the pieces of broccoli on top. Hmmm. Funny. Maybe this has motivated her to eat her vegetables because she doesn't like the alternative? Mitch has chosen to ignore these meals entirely for some reason.....
Day 2: Chicken Salad Sandwiches with hidden cauliflower. Verdict: Good. I enjoyed the taste a lot. Keilani ate it pretty well too. Okay so it doesn't look so appetizing in this picture, but you have to remember I don't have a very good camera. In fact, Keilani just dropped it again so it is acting all wierd.
Tonight it is Tofu Nuggets. Sounds great doesn't it? Ha, ha.
And here are some bonus pictures of Keilani as a reward for bearing with me:
She found her winter hat from last year and it still fits! (Does this mean she had a really big head for a baby?)
I guess this was just a matter of time. I really am surprised it didn't happen sooner. But doesn't she just look so cute and innocent?
